In light of school closures, we have put together a timetable of resources and activities that can be completed at home for a wide age range of children. We will continue to post resources and offer support on our facebook page

You can download our fully resourced timetable here

Our tutors are also available to work online and can offer more personalised and resourced packages.

Our secondary team are quite diverse so we can offer a range of subjects. We have subject specialists trained in Maths, Science, English Psychology, Sociology, PE, Computer Science and Languages, and we are expanding this range all the time.

At One to One we aim to match our tutors to your child's specific requirements  and we support a variety of needs from gifted and talented to SEN.

We aspire to develop a child's confidence and resilience whilst teaching them with the skills and knowledge they need to reach their potential.

We provide private tuition for children at all levels from Early Years through to KS1 and KS2. We develop numeracy and literacy skills, verbal and non verbal reasoning. We also support pupils specific needs including gifted and talented and SEN, we aim to foster a child's love of learning, developing their confidence in a safe and caring environment.

We work with a lot of students as they prepare for SAT's and can offer small group sessions for SAT's preparation in addition to, or instead of one to one tuition.

At One to One we have a number of staff experienced in working with pupils with a range of SEN needs. Please get in touch to discuss your childs specific needs so we can provide a suitable tutor and a tailored support package for your child.

Does my child need a tutor?

Could my child benefit from tutoring?

Your child might benefit from being tutored if:

  • Your child is working below their expected level.
  • Your child’s confidence is slipping.
  • They need revision for a forthcoming exam.
  • They need experience in exam technique for SATS or GCSE
  • You feel your child isn't being challenged in school
  • Your child feels overwhelmed and requires support

I liked learning with my tutor as she went at my pace and taught me not to worry if I get something wrong.

— Calum

With Vicky's excellent one to one tuition we now feel our Son is reaching his potential and as a result his confidence in Maths has increased, we cannot recommend Vicky highly enough.

My tutor makes learning fun and believes in me. I feel happier in class because I understand.

— Tina Shaw

We were extremely pleased with One to One. The tutor has given my son the confidence he needed to be able to work independently, but more importantly, it was made fun.
